With the new season underway I have to congratulate the whole club. The first 2 weeks of fixtures saw Primrose Hill pick up 18 wins from 21 games !! This is a huge achievement for the club and lets hope the success continues throughout the Season. This Season we have introduced Captains to all teams plus a club captain has been nominated so congratulations to all those picked by there respective coaches and a big congratulations to Digby on his appointment as club Captain.
Match Write Up
With Primrose Hill under 13’s winning there first fixture of the season 10-1 the second game proved to be a closer affair. Having started off on the front foot and dominating possession all over the park we went 1-0 up with a fine strike from just inside the area. We didn’t took our foot off the pedal and saw the opposition score twice within 10 minutes to send us into the break 2-1 down. We had a shuffle around and went out in the second half and showed enormous character to not only keep the opposition at bay but score two goals from finely creative football. A big performance from all of the boys and 2 wins out of 2 leaves us second in the league with plenty more football to play. Congratulations gentlemen, you should be very proud. We go again on the 12th so good luck and keep it up.
